Ice Cream Truck

Everyone has an ice cream truck memory. Whether it's that your parents wouldn't let you go near an ice cream truck {mine}, or you were always saving your nickels and dimes for the next time you heard the music coming down the street and have very fond memories of summers with ice cream from the ice cream man {Carl}, or since you hated fish, your parents called it the fish truck instead of the ice cream truck so you'd run away from the music coming down the street {my best friend, Bri}. Everyone has memories...
Well, we've heard that sweet music a few times this summer, but just as we run out of the house, it's already rounded the cul de sac and is heading back down the street. Now if I was 8 or 9, I'd probablly chase it down, but seeing as I'll be 30 in a month and a half {oh geez...that soon?}, I thought, I'd just wait it out.
We heard it today and so we rounded up the boys and ran outside, Carl and I very excited about Zach & Drew's first ice cream truck experience and Zach & Drew wondering what the heck was up with their parents....yes, we're dorks.

under the table

Drew now thinks he's big enough to sit at the table to eat. In fact, he won't eat if we're all sitting at the table and he's in his highchair. It just doesn't cut it for him anymore. He can even climb up on the chair on his very own now. He's such a big boy. Nothing makes him happier right now then to sit next to his big brother and eat.

My 3 sons. Apparently that was a TV show from before I was born...

Let's begin this blog with this picture that I took with the boys in their 4th of July garb. I love it becasue it pretty much describes our household right now. Here's how it breaks down: we have Zach kissing Drew. While it looks sweet, he's really grinding his teeth together and putting a little too much presure on Drew's head. In fact, a second after this pic was taken, Drew fell over. Then we have Drew looking bewildered by his surroundings--still trying to firgure out why the heck he's sitting on a table with a basket and a baby in front of him and what mommy has in her hands...and most importantly why Zach is squeezing him and grinding his teeth. Last we have Ty, who, poor thing, has only been in this family, let alone the world, for 3 whole weeks and is now laying in a basket, desperatly trying NOT to fall out wondering, like Drew, who this crazy lady with the camera is and thinking she vaguely looks like the one that feeds him...

So, there they are...my 3 sons. I couldn't be prouder or love them more. So this is why I'm starting this blog. To show everyone how precious they are and the funny things they say and do. I hope you enjoy reading about our life as much as we enjoy living it...
